Breathable textiles, climate-specific babywearing, and field-measured comfort.
About
I test carriers in heat, humidity, wind, and cold using repeatable routes, sensors, and our setup-time protocol. I translate those results into climate/activity ratings and fit notes for real routines.
Core Beliefs
Breathability and fit are measurable, and better data leads to calmer, safer carries.
Background
On a July bus commute, I wore a mesh carrier while tracking skin-temp and humidity with a clip-on sensor. The stopwatch hit eight minutes to settle; my son slept forty-five. I swapped to a knit the next day and he woke sweaty. That contrast birthed our climate rating rubric.
Perspective
I favor breathable mesh, quick-drying textiles, and stable structures for warm climates and active use.
